"Bhagvad Gita is the fragrant pollen of the lotus flower Mahabharat embodying beauty and spiritual awakening. It recounts an enlightening dialogue between the Pandav warrior Arjun and his charioteer and trusted advisor Lord Krishna at the Battle of Kurukshetra.

The abundant butter churned from the ocean of vedic wisdom was simmered in the heat of Vivek, mind's ability to discern, judge ethically, and act wisely leaving behind the clarified butter, its very essence, the Bhagvad Gita.

Bhagvad Gita enamours those who have subdued their worldly desires and passions, abandoned the pursuits of this world, separated from passion or worldly attachments. And even the enlightened beings who have attained Self Realization.

The Bhishma Parva is the sixth of eighteen books of the Indian epic Mahabharat. Bhishma Parva also includes Bhagavad Gita, the guide to self-discovery and spiritual enlightenment revered worldwide.

Glorified by Lord Shiva, Lord Bramha and also by Sanakadi Maharishis, Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatana, and Sanatkumara, the Gita in the title of the Bhagavad Gita means "song". Accordingly, the title has been interpreted as "the song of God"

The listener of Bhagvad Gita must absorb it minutely just like nestlings of bird Chakor said to be deeply in love with the moon and believed to "feed" on its beams, relish moon's silver bounty bit by bit.
The subtle mind needed for learning the wisdom of Bhagvad Gita is like the honeybee plucking the pollen off the lotus flower so delicately that the lotus is not even aware of it. It is as subtle as the lotus flower embracing the young moon and showering it with her love despite the distance separating them.

The Bhagavad Gita is not meant for casual readers because it is a complex philosophical text with deep layers of meaning often requiring thoughtful reflection.
One needs to be a good listener like Arjun, put himself in the place of Arjun to understand it's wisdom."
