"There are those who seek Me primarily for personal gain, rather than a genuine desire to know and love Me said Lord Krishna. The Dnyani devotee is however the one who seeks Me with a single-pointed devotion, with love directed solely at Me. It is a passionate and unwavering love, characterized by a complete surrender and focus on the divine. The cows are frequently tethered with a rope to restrict their movement, often for the purpose of managing them in a confined area. A calf of cow doesn't need to be tied to relate to the mother cow. The mother cow too reciprocates displaying a strong maternal bond with her calf characterized by nurturing, protection, and a deep emotional connection. The mother cow and calf analogy is closely tied with 'Ananya-gati' or exclusive devotion. It is the state of being completely absorbed in and dedicated to the divine, without any other attachments or distractions. Lord Krishna further said, the other types of devotees too are good and have my affection, yet the Dnyani devotee is unique. Just like a river that flows into the sea doesn't turn back, the Dnyani devotee doesn't get back into the worldly life again after My Realization. The Self Realization is like the spring of Holy Ganga originating in a heart cave. It's merging into the sea is the dissolving of individual existence into a greater whole. Such a Dnyani devotee becomes Me said Lord Krishna. In the truer sense the Dnyani is My Soul Consciousness. It is something not to be uttered at all. Yet now it is revealed."
