तो आतां अवसरें मजसारिखा होईल I ऐसा हन भाव तुज जाईल I हां गा अमृताआंत राहील I तया मरण कैंचें II 425 II
पैं सूर्य जे वेळां नुदैजे I तया वेळा कीं रात्रि म्हणिजे I तेविं माझिये भक्तीवीण जें कीजे I तें महापाप नोहे II 426 II
म्हणोनि तयाचिया चित्ता I माझी जवळिक पांडुसुता I तेव्हांचि तो तत्वता I स्वरूप माझें II 427 II
जैसा दीपें दीपु लाविजे I तेथ आदील कोण हे नोळखिजे I तैसा सर्वस्वें जो मज भजे I तो मीचि होऊनि ठाके II 428 II
मग माझी नित्य शांति I तया दशा तेचि कांती I किंबहुना जिती I माझेनि जीवें II 429 II
एक पार्था पुढतपुढती I तेंचि तें सांगों किती I जरी मियां चाड तरी भक्ति I न विसंबिजे गा II 430 II
अगा कुळाचिया चोखटपणा न लगा I आभिजात्य झणें श्लाघा I व्युत्पत्तीचा वाउगा I सोसु कां वाहावा II 431 II
कां रूपवयसा माजा I आथिलेपणें कां गाजा I एक भाव नाहीं माझा I तरी पाल्हाळ तें II 432 II
कणेंविण सोपटें I कणसें दाटलीं घनदाटें I काय करावें गोमटें I वोस नगर II 433 II
ना तरी सरोवर आटलें I रानीं दु:खिया दु:खी भेटलें I कां वांझ फुलीं फुललें I झाड जैसें II 434 II
तैसें सकळ तें वैभव I अथवा कुळ जाति गौरव I जैसें शरीर आहे सावेव I फरि जीवचि नाहीं II 435 II
तैसें.माझिये भक्तीविण I जळो तें जियालेपण I अगा पृथ्वीवरी पाषाण I नसती काई II 436 II
पैं हिवराची दाट साउली I सज्जनीं जैसी वाळिली I तैसीं पुण्यें डावलूनि गेलीं I अभक्तांतें II 437 II
निंब निंबोळिया मोडोनि आला I तरि तो काउळियांसीचि सुकाळु जाहला I तैसा भक्तिहीनु वाढिन्नला I दोषांचिलागीं II 438 II
कां षड्रस खापरीं वाढिलें I वाढूनि चोहटां ठेविले I ते सुणियां चां ऐसे झाले I जियापरी II 439 II
तैसें भक्तिहीनांचें जिणें I तो स्वप्नींहि परि सुकृत नेणे I तेणें संसार दु:खासि भाणें I वोगरिलें II 440 II
म्हणोनि कुळ उत्तम नोहावें I जाती अंत्यजही व्हावें I वरि देहाचेनि नांवें I पशूचेही लाभो II 441 II
पाहें पां सावजें हातिरूं धरिलें I तेणें तया काकुळती मातें स्मरिलें I कीं तयाचें पशुत्व वावो जाहलें I पावलिया मातें II 442 II
"It will be improper for you to think that my devotee realizes Me after death, because death cannot be for he who dwells in Amrut, the divine nectar of immortality. Night is the time before the rise of the sun. Similarly everything other than my devotion is a great sin. And therefore the person who finds Me in constant proximity realizes and remains merged into Me. The merging is as complete just like the two lamps, one lighted over another are indistinguishable. The devotee attains a state of profound, unshakeable serenity and equipoise well known of Me and glows in radiance. It can be said that he lives through My liveliness. The gist of all I said is that the wholehearted devotion is the means to attain My realization. Purity of descent, rich heritage, scholarship, excessive pride about one's physical attractiveness and youth and ostentatious display of wealth, all are worthless without devotion. It is as vainly as the bunch of corn, yet without grain or a delightful city but without human habitation or dried lake or the dejected meeting another or blossoming of barren tree. Just like a body with all organs intact but without vital life force is useless, similarly futile is life without My devotion. Such living is as lifeless as the countless stones scattered on earth. Just like the dark shade of thorny cactus is avoided by the WISE, the virtuous avoid interaction with those who are not devoted. Just like the crows delight when they find a neem tree laden with fruit. Similarly a devotion-less person in flourish spreads vices. A dishful food incorporating all six tastes sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, and astringent kept in open, but when the dogs eat it, they suffer from loss of hair. Similar is the life of devotion-less, for they don't earn good merit even in dreams. Their life is the dishful of delicacies offered to the sufferings. And therefore there is absolutely no hindrance irrespective of not a good descent, socially one may be lowly, or the body may be of animal. A powerful elephant king Gajendra who, while enjoying a lake with his herd, is attacked and caught by a crocodile. Despite his strength, when Gajendra was unable to free himself, recognizing his helplessness, prayed to Me for salvation and attained liberation. His being animal didn't come in his way, because no matter who does it, the wholehearted devotion is the highest."
