"Then Arjun said to Lord Krishna, You have illuminated me things that are so profound and overwhelming that it defies verbal expression. They are simply beyond words. When everything merges into the Supreme Reality, also known as Brahma or the Absolute, that is the true You, a state of ultimate unity and liberation where all individual existences are reabsorbed into the single, formless, eternal source of all being. Just like a greedy hoards his wealth keeping it buried, you kept hidden the Universal Cosmic Form that encompasses all the universes, the entire existence even from the Vedas. That profound spectacle, meant to awe and illuminate the observer's understanding of the divine was revealed to me today by You. To say that You revealed to me that for which Lord Shiva gave up His KNOWLEDGE will be to put in jeopardy the oneness with you. You saved me from getting drowned in the flood of delusion of Maya. Except You we have none in the universe, yet the illusion of "I Consciousness" that persists is a result of the Karmic consequences of the past lives. I was identifying myself as an individual named Arjun and under the delusion of this body consciousnesses I was refusing to fight with the Kauravas calling them as my people. Fighting my relatives and revered teachers would lead to my spiritual downfall. While I was deep into this nightmarish illusion, you came to my rescue and brought me to senses. I was drinking the water of the mirage to quench my thirst. It was a rope, not a snake. Yet the misperception was so overwhelming that I could feel the waves of venom as if I was biten by the snake. You came to my rescue and saved me. It was just like a lion, upon seeing his own reflection in a pool, mistakes it for a rival lion and is too afraid to drink, only to realize the truth and overcome his fear and inhibitions. Had it not been Your timely intervention, I was prepared for the extreme but not to fight with the close relatives no matter even if all seven oceans come together and the universe drowns in it or even if the sky falls. Caught in the overwhelming pull of the "I" Consciousness and attachment drowning me, it was You who saved me from the sure downfall. Me, my relatives, this battle, everything is "That Which Is Not", yet I assumed it to be true. A delusion is a strongly held false belief, that is resistant to any reason that contradicts it. But it was because of You, I could hold my poise.

The "Lakshagraha" episode from the Hindu epic Mahabharat, was more about the bodily harm to the Pandavas. But here on the battlefield Kurukshetra, the threat is more profound, because the scorching fire of delusion was sapping out not only the mental resolve of Arjun and eventually his body but this time his Consciousness, Awareness were also on the verge of annihilation. The demon Hiranyaksha, brother of Hiranyakashipu became immensely powerful and filled with arrogance. In his limitless power, Hiranyaksha forcibly dragged the Earth to the bottom of the ocean, causing chaos and threatening its destruction. To save the Earth, Lord Vishnu took the form of a giant wild boar, the Varaha avatar. The Varaha plunged into the ocean, found the Earth, and used its mighty tusks to lift it to the surface. An enraged Hiranyaksha confronted Varaha. A colossal battle ensued. Lord Varaha ultimately defeated and killed Hiranyaksha, saving the Earth and restoring order to the universe. Just like Hiranyaksha was destroying earth, the attachment was not allowing Arjun's intellect to think with reason. Lord Krishna's advice helped him to streamline his thoughts. In a way it was the Varah avtar yet again on the battlefield Kurukshetra. However may I praise of Your infinite kindness, it won't be enough. The ocean of love You has bestowed upon me every aspect of the vital life force in entirety. Your infinite love has not gone in vain. The grand success of it was the annihilation of the attachment that was dragging me away from my duty. You are the pristine lotus flower in the waters of the divine bliss. Your radiant yet soft glance that embodies the divine's kindness, grace, and compassion, when showers, it keeps the Jeeva protected from the otherwise powerful onslaught of Maya and attachment. The delusion is as ineffective before You as the water of mirage is to Vadvagni, the destructive submarine fire. It is no wonder that I have become free from attachment as I am savoring the divine KNOWLEDGE in the inner sanctum of Your Grace. By the touch of Your holy feet, it's my emancipation in the truer sense."
