"Lord Krishna said, though both the Renunciation or simply withdrawing from the worldly activities and Karma Yog both lead to the Liberation from the mundane existence, the Karma Yog (performing actions with devotion and without attachment to the results) is preferred between the two by the wise, from the point of view of ease of putting into practice. It is just like a boat easily accessible to all takes passengers across the river. The added advantage of the Karma Yog is that with it the Renunciation follows suit. Let me now tell you about the qualities of a Sanyasi, the person who has put into practice Renunciation in the truer sense so that you can distinguish between what it means by Renunciation and how it is different from the Karma Yog."
