आतां जाहालिया भ्रमहत I जैसें पिशाचाचें चित्त I मग इंद्रियांचें चेष्टित I विकळु दिसे II 57 II
स्वरूप तरी देखे I आळविलें आइके I शब्दु बोले मुखें I परी ज्ञान नाहीं II 58 II
हें असो काजेंविण I जें जें कांही करण I तें केवळ कर्म जाण I इंद्रियांचें II 59 II
मग सर्वत्र जें जाणतें I तें बुद्धीचें कर्म निरुतें I वोळख अर्जुनातें I म्हणे हरि II 60 II
"Purely physical in nature is the karma done with a stock still mind, without a conscious thought or without any mental or intellectual interference. Let me tell you in simple words. Just like the activities of a child are purely unintentional or without a conscious thought, similarly the Yogis' do the karma only by their body without harbouring any vaasanas' or past impressions. Vasanas are desires that come from past impressions or tendencies and trigger actions.
When the body made of five elements sleeps, the mind roams freely in a dream. There is something peculiar about the past impressions or tendencies. They involve one into bittersweet experiences without the body having any inkling of it.
Purely mental is the activity done without involving the sense organs. The Yogis' practice the mental karma, yet remain detached because they are done without a conscious thought. The hallucinations of a haunted person make him act weirdly. He sees a ghostly figure or apparition, hears voices, speaks but doesn't know what he is talking about. In other words the karma done without any cause is the karma of the sense organs. The karma done with a conscious thought is the intellectual karma said Lord Krishna to Arjun."
