"So said Arjun to Lord Krishna, I have spoken my mind freely. Now it is up to you to make out of it. Those with whom enmity is not possible even at the cost of our life now stand before us as our enemies. At this point of time I am unable to make up my mind about whether to kill them or avoid the battle."

"Arjun said, I am not able to make up my mind because the attachment to the loved ones has engrossed it. Just like the disease of the eye diminishes it's visibility so much that seeing even nearer things  becomes difficult, the mind blinded by attachment interferes with our ability to think clearly and rationally.
Arjun is unable to summon the strength to fight despite knowing it is his duty as a warrior. Caught in the moral quandary, state of not being able to decide what to do, Arjun turned to his beloved friend Lord Krishna for guidance, and urged Him to illuminate the path ahead. Arjun called Him his everything, his Guru, brother, his mother, father and saviour who saves from danger, harm or difficulty. Just like the sea is never tired of the rivers running into it, the Guru never loses hope in his disciple. You are my only resort said Arjun to Lord Krishna. Without your help the agony will be as unbearable as that of a child abandoned by mother. Even if you don't approve of what I said earlier, please guide me about what ought to be done in accordance with Dharma."
