जे सात्विक हन भाव I कां रजतमादि सर्व I ते ममरूपसंभव I वोळखें तूं II 53 II
हे जाले तरी माझ्या ठायीं I परी तयांमाजीं मी नाहीं I जैसी स्वप्नींच्या डोहीं I जागृति न बुडे II 54 II
जैसी रसाचीच सुघट I बीजकणिका घनवट I परी तियेस्तव होय काष्ठ I अंकुरद्वारें II 55 II
मग तया काष्ठाच्या ठायीं I सांग पां बीजपण असे काई I तैसा मी विकारी नाहीं I जरी विकारला दिसें II 56 II
पैं गगनीं उपजे आभाळ I परी तेथ गगन नाहीं केवळ I अथवा आभाळीं होय सलिल I तेथ अभ्र नाहीं II 57 II
मग त्या उदकाचेनि आवेशें I प्रगटलें तेज जें लगलखित दिसे I तिये विजूमाजीं असे I सलिल कायी II 58 II
सांगें अग्नीस्तव धूम होये I तिये धूमीं काय अग्नि आहे I तैसा विकारु हा मी नोहें I जरी विकारला असें II 59 II

"You must take into account this Parth said Lord Krishna, that the three gunas' 
Sattva (goodness, purity, and enlightenment), Rajas (passion, activity, and desire), and Tamas (ignorance, inertia, and delusion), the three modes of material nature, that influence all aspects of existence originate from Me. The individual's actions are shaped by the interplay of these three gunas'. Though they originate from Me, they are devoid of Me just like wakefulness doesn't exist during a dream. The moisture is an inherent part of seed. The seed grows into a tree. The hard wood thus formed however has no trace of the seed in it. Similarly even if the three Vikars', the imperfections or defilements that cloud the mind and lead to suffering, closely related to the three gunas' originate from Me, I remain untouched of them.
The clouds gather in the sky, but there is no sky in the clouds. The clouds are composed of water, but water doesn't contain clouds. Does that mean that the bolt of lightening, a visible bright flash produced by the friction between water clouds contain water?
Just like fire produces smoke, but  the smoke doesn't contain fire, similarly though the Vikar manifest from Me, I am not the Vikars'."
