"Then Arjun, the son of King Pandu, greatest among warriors and bearer of flag of victory of Somvansh said to Lord Krishna, beloved Lord, Your Grace descended upon me in the form of the Vishwaroop, yet it's huge wondrous form frightened me. And so I took refuge in Your Chaurbhuja form familiar to me. But You disapproved of it and insisted to give the Vishwaroop as priority. Manifested in form and Unmanifest or Sagun and Nirgun both are You only. The Sagun is realized by Bhakti or devotional love, while Yoga Marga is the means to attain the Nirgun. Bhakti and Yoga are two distinct ways to attain Your realization. In a way the Sagun and Nirgun are the thresholds. Just like the quality of gold is the same no matter whether it is a solid bar of gold or a trace of it, similarly Sagun or  Nirgun are the representation of the same You. The greatness of the divine Amrut is the same no matter whether it is the ocean of Amrut or a mouthful of it for rinsing. Similarly I have realized that Manifest (in form or perceivable within the physical world) and Unmanifest (formless and transcendent ground of all being) are but the two aspects of the divine. But now the reason for my enquiry is whether the all encompassing Vishwaroop You assumed that flashed momentarily was true or only a masquerade. Those who dedicate all their Karmas to You, for whom You are the highest and paramount, those who have dedicated their thoughts, feelings and consciousness entirely to the divine. In this way those devotees who worship You by fond devotional love. That which transcends the Primordial Sound Omkar, that which is beyond the manifested speech and beyond compare, indestructible, Nirgun (formless), boundless, which cannot be seen by naked eye, the WISE worship through the Self Realization.
Between the aspirants of the Dnyan Marga (KNOWLEDGE path) and Bhakti Marga (the path of devotional love for the divine), I want to know who attains the KNOWLEDGE of yoga? Lord Krishna was delighted hearing Arjun's words. He lauded Arjun about his knack of posing the question."
