"Mahat Tattva or Mahatattva, the cosmic energy, which is the source of all material creation manifests in its different forms just like the sudden appearance of colourful clouds in a clear sky, the process of creation from the unmanifest to the manifest world.
The Mahatattva comprises of 25 constituents, known as tattvas. These include Prakruti (matter), Purush (Energy), and 23 further elements that evolve from Prakruti, encompassing various aspects of experience, from gross elements to subtle senses and the mind.
They are:
1) Mahat (Cosmic Intelligence)
2) Buddhi (Intellect)
3) Ahankar ("I" Consciousness)
4) Five Mahabhutas (Gross Elements): The five fundamental elements of the physical world: ether, air, fire, water and earth.
5) Five Dnyanendriyas'
The five sense organs that experience the external world: hearing, touch, sight, taste, and smell.
6) Five Karmendriyas
The five senses that facilitate action: speech, hands, feet, genitals, and anus.
7) Five Tanmatras', the subtle elements that correspond to our five senses: sound (shabda), touch (sparsha), form (rupa), taste (rasa), and smell (gandha). They are the foundational qualities of perception, representing the subtle forms of the five gross elements
24) Prakruti (Matter):
The fundamental, unmanifest, unchangeable and eternal entity from which the universe evolves.
25) Purush ( Eternal Energy):
These tattvas' are not simply a list of elements but represent a dynamic system of evolution, where one tattva leads to the next, ultimately resulting in the manifestation of the universe.
In a fertile land of Nirvikalpa, the seed of Pure Consciousness sprouts that gives rise to countless universes of various sizes.
Nirvikalpa is a state of deep meditative absorption or samadhi
where the mind transcends duality and experiences a profound sense of unity and non-dual awareness. It's a state where the distinction between the observer and the observed, the subject and object, dissolves, leading to a realization of the true Self, free from the illusion of the material world.
In each of the universes there are countless seeds, the core of each is however the original seed, giving rise to countless beings."
