"After learning about Lord Krishna's divine glories, Arjun, filled with curiosity, requests to see Lord Krishna's true, all-encompassing form.
Chapter 10 describes Lord Krishna granting Arjun the divine vision to witness His Vishwaroop, the Universal Form containing the whole of Creation. The Vishwaroop Darshan (Cosmic Form) of the divine, is characterized by a confluence of different emotional states, or rasas. In Indian aesthetics and performance, rasa is the essence of an emotion or a sentiment evoked in an audience by artistic performances or narratives.
Just like people in wedding party wear beautiful clothes and jewellery during the celebration, so is the Marathi language evoking emotional and aesthetic responses, or rasas, in a reader or audience through the power of language. Yet of all the rasas, Shanta rasa (tranquility, peace) and Adbhut rasa (wonder, amazement) are considered predominant during the Vishwaroop Darshan (the divine vision of Lord Krishna's cosmic form) because the sheer scale and divine nature of the vision evoke profound awe and inner peace in the observer, combining the spiritual joy of liberation with the astonishment at the miraculous. Shanta rasa and Adbhut rasa coming together is like coming together of Hari and Hara or sun and moon meet in the sky on new moon.
Just as the Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj, where the visible Ganga and Yamuna meet the hidden Saraswati, the divine wisdom and emotions in the Vishwaroop Darshan blend Shanta rasa (serenity) and Adbhuta rasa (wonder), with the profound truths of the Bhagavad Gita requiring deeper insight to uncover, like the hidden Saraswati. The best way to enter this sacred Triveni is through hearing it's meaningful insights. The original text of Bhagwad Gita is written in classical Sanskrut, the text is highly philosophical and poetic. It is by the Grace of ShriGuru that the very ethos of Bhagwad Gita that reflects the social, political, and spiritual milieu of ancient India, dealing with dharma (duty/righteousness), karma (action), and bhakti (devotion) is now written in Marathi, the vernacular language of Maharashtra, making it accessible to the common people. Bathing in the holy waters of Gita-Triveni and seeing Vishwarup of Lord Madhav is a path to liberation from the cycle of rebirth."
