तरी कर्म म्हणिजे स्वभावें I जेणें विश्वाकारु संभवे I तें सम्यक आधीं जाणावे I लागे एथ II 89 II
मग वर्णाश्रमासि उचित I जें विशेष कर्म विहित I तेंही वोळखावें निश्चित I उपयोगेंसीं II 90 II
पाठीं जें निषिद्ध म्हणिपे I तेंही बुझावें स्वरूपें I येतुलेनि काहीं न गुंफे I आपैसेंचि II 91 II
एऱ्हवीं जग हें कर्माधीन I ऐसी याची व्याप्ती गहन I परी तें असो आइकें चिन्ह I प्राप्तांचें गा II 92 II

"That which makes this universe come into existence is called a Karma. For clarity one must understand it in all its aspects such as doing the prescribed duties based on one's natural qualities and social role (varna). Each varna has its own "dharma" or prescribed duty, which should be fulfilled diligently. Vikarma or actions that are prohibited and sinful also should be taken note of. The Karma encompasses the world in entirety. Its realm is very vast. I am elucidating only the related aspects said Lord Krishna to Arjun."
