परि आणीक एक एथ शार्ङ्गी I तुज विश्वरूपातें देखावयालागीं I पैं योग्यता माझिया आंगीं I असे कीं नाहीं II 89 II
हें आपलें आपण मी नेणें I तें कां नेणसी जरी देव म्हणे I तरी सरोगु काय जाणे I निदान रोगाचें II 90 II
आणि जे आर्तीचेनि पडिभरें I आर्तु आपुली टाकी पैं विसरे I जैसा तान्हेला म्हणे न पुरे I समुद्र मज II 91 II
ऐशा सचाडपणाचिये भुली I न सांभाळवे समस्या आपुली I यालागीं योग्यता जेविं माऊली I बाळकाची जाणे II 92 II
तयापरी श्रीजनार्दना I विचारिजो माझी संभावना I मग विश्वरूपदर्शना I उपक्रम कीजे II 93 II
तरि ऐसी ते कृपा करा I एऱ्हवीं नव्हे हें म्हणा अवधारा I वायां पंचमालापें बधिरा I सुख केउतें देणें II 94 II
एऱ्हवीं येकले बापियाचे तृषे I मेघ जगापुरतें काय न वर्खे I परी जहालीही वृष्टि उपखे I जऱ्ही खडकीं होय II 95 II
चकोरा चंदामृत फावलें I येरां आण वाहूनि काय वारिलें I परी डोळ्यांवीण पाहलें I वायां जाय II 96 II
म्हणोनि विश्वरूप तूं सहसा I दाविसी कीर हा भरंवसा I कां जे कडाडां आणि गहिंसां I माजीं नित्य नवां तूं कीं II 97 II
तुझें औदार्य जाणों स्वतंत्र I देतां न म्हणसी पात्रापात्र I पैं कैवल्य ऐसें पवित्र I जें वैरियांही दिधलें II 98 II
मोक्षु दुराराध्यु कीर होय I परि तोही आराधी तुझे पाय I म्हणोनि धाडिसी तेथ जाय I पाइकु जैसा II 99 II
तुवां सनकादिकांचेनि मानें I सायुज्यीं सौरसु दिधला पूतने I जे विषाचेनि स्तनपानें I मारूं आली II 100 II
हां गा राजसूय यागाचिया सभासदीं I देखता त्रिभुवनाची मांदी I कैसा शतधा दुर्वाक्य- शब्दी I निस्तेजिलासी II 101 II
ऐशिया अपराधिया शिशुपाळा I आपणपें ठावो दिधला गोपाळा I आणि उत्तानचरणाचिया बाळा I काय ध्रुवपदीं चाड II 102 II
तो वना आला याचिलागीं I जे बैसावें पितयाचिया उत्संगीं I कीं तो चंद्रसूर्यादिकांपरिस जगीं I श्लाघ्यु केला II 103 II
ऐसा वनवासिया सकळां I देतान एकचि तूं धसाळा I पुत्र आळवितां अजामिळा I आपणपें देसी II 104 II
जेणें उरीं हाणितलासि पांपरा I तयाचा चरणु वाहासी दातारा I अझुनी वैरियाचिया कलेवरा I विसंबसी ना II 105 II
ऐसा अपकारियां तुझा उपकारु I तूं अपात्रींही परि उदारु I दे दान म्हणोनि दारवंठेकरु I जाहलासी बळीचा II 106 II
तूंतें आराधी ना आयके I होती पुंसा बोलवीत कौतुकें I तियें वैकुंठीं तुवां गणिके I सुरवाडु केला II 107 II
ऐसीं पाहूनि वायाणीं मिषें I आपणपें देवों लागसी वानिवसें I तो तूं कां अनारिसें I मजलागीं करिसी II 108 II
हां गा दुभतयाचेनि पवाडें I जे जगचें फेडी सांकडें I तिये कामधेनूचे पाडे I काय भुकेले ठाती II 109 II
म्हणोनि मियां जें विनविलें काहीं I तें देव न दाखविती हें कीर नाहीं I फरि देखावयालागीं देईं I पात्रता मज II 110 II
तुझें विश्वरूप आकळे I ऐसे जरी क्षजाणसी माझे डोळे I तरि आर्तीच डोहळे I पुरवीं देवा II 111 II
ऐसि ठायेंठावो विनंति I जंव करूं सरला सुभद्रापति I तंव तया षडगुणचक्रवर्ती I साहवेचिना II 112 II
तो कृपापियूषसजळु I आणि येरु जवळां आला वर्षकाळु I नाना श्रीकृष्ण कोकिळु I अर्जुन वसंतु II 113 II
ना तरि चंद्रबिंब वाटोळें I देखोनि क्षीरसागर उचंबळे I तैसा दुणेंहीवरी प्रेमबळें I उल्लसितु जाहला II 114 II
मग तिये प्रसन्नतेचेनि आटोपें I गाजोनि म्हणिछलें सकृपें I पार्था देख देख अमूपें I स्वरूपें माझीं II 115 II
एक विश्वरूप देखावें I ऐसा मनोरथु केला पांडवें I कीं विश्वरूपमय आघवें I अरूनि घातलें II 116 II
बाप उदार देवो अपरिमितु I याचक स्वेच्छा सदोदितु I असे सहस्रवरी देतु I सर्वस्व आपुलें II 117 II
अहो शेषाचेही डोळे चोरिले I वेद जयालागीं झकविले I लक्ष्मीयेही राहविलें I जिव्हार जें II 118 II
तें आतां प्रगटुनि अनेकधा I करीत विश्वरूपदर्शनाचा धांदा I बाप भाग्या अगाधा I पार्थाचिया II 119 II
जो जागता स्वप्नावस्थे जाये I जो जेवीं स्वप्नींचें आघवें होये I तेविं अनंत ब्रम्हकटाह आहे I आपणचि जाहला II 120 II
ते सहसा मुद्रा सोडिली I आणि स्थूळदृष्टीची जवनिका फेडिली I किंबहुना उघडिली I योगऋद्धि II 121 II
परि हा हें देखेल कीं नाहीं I ऐसी सेचि न करी कांहीं I एकसरां म्हणतसे पाहीं I स्नेहातुर II 122 II
"Arjun said to Lord Krishna, am I really worthy to witness the Vishwaroop, the universal cosmic form? Can a diseased person diagnose his ailment himself? The yearning for Vishwaroop is so overwhelming that it makes me forget if I am really eligible to witness such a phenomenally grand event. Just like for an extremely thirsty, even the sea water will do, similarly the uncontrollable yearning is making me lose my poise. Just like a mother has an unparalleled understanding of her child's abilities, accordingly with due understanding of my abilities, I look at You my beloved lord to illuminate me of Your Vishwaroop. And if You do not think I am worthy of it, then please tell me so. This is because it will be like a melodious music to the deaf. The clouds may shower rains to quench thirst of the Chatak bird, and it nourishes the earth too. But if the rain falls on the stone, all goes in vain. The moon spreads moonlight everywhere, yet except the Chakor bird none has the knowledge to pluck it. What is the light of the day if there is no eyesight? I have absolute trust that You will show me Your Vishwaroop, because for knower and naive alike You are eternally new. The divine is often described as a source of universal generosity, and grace that is freely given to all, regardless of earthly status. Oftentimes You have bestowed the most auspicious Moksha or liberation even to those most hostile to You. Moksha is rarest of rare, yet it is at Your service and goes wherever You send it. Just like the revered Sanakadi Muni who attained liberation, You bestowed Moksha even to the demoness Putana who tried to kill You when You were still infant by offering the poisoned breast milk. Shishupal insulted Lord Krishna at Yudhishthir's Rajasuya Yadnya when Lord Krishna was honored as the guest of honor, calling Him a mere cowherd and a unworthy recipient of praise. Despite this Shishupal attained Moksha (liberation) when Lord Krishna killed him during the Rajasuya Yadnya. Shishupal's soul merged into Lord Krishna's body as a light, achieving salvation despite his lifetime of intense hatred and enmity towards Lord Krishna. Dhruva was the son of King Uttanapad and his first wife, Suniti. Rejected by his father in favor of his second son, Uttam (son of the favorite wife, Suruchi), a young and determined Dhruva went to the forest to seek the grace of Lord Vishnu. Through intense devotion and penance, Lord Vishnu appeared, granted him a boon for a place in the heaven, and made him Dhruva Nakshatra, the unmoving Pole Star. In this way You are the only one whose Grace descends abundantly and indiscriminately upon the sufferers. Ajamil lived this life of sin for many years. He named his youngest son Narayan, a name of the Lord Vishnu. Ajamil grew extremely attached to this son, constantly calling his name in affection. Ajamil had chanted the holy name of Narayan at the time of his death, he was purified of all his sins. Although his chanting was a cry for his son, the name of the Lord is so potent that even an unintentional utterance is enough to grant him the liberation. Sage Bhrigu kicked Lord Vishnu on the chest. Lord Vishnu carries the impression of the sage Bhrigu's foot on his chest as the auspicious symbol. Shankhasur, a demon in the form of a conch shell, kidnapped the son of Sandipani Muni, the guru of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna plunged into the sea, found Shankhasur, and defeated the demon. From the defeated Shankhasur, Krishna recovered the conch shell. This divine conch Panchajanya is one of Lord Krishna's four main attributes and was used during the Kurukshetra War to signal the beginning of battle. Your kindness and grace descends abundantly even upon the tyrants. Lord Vishnu incarnated as a dwarf Brahmin, Vaman, to subdue the mighty king Bali. A pious Asura (demon) king known for his generosity and devotion, Bali had conquered the three worlds, including the heavens, displacing the gods. To restore cosmic order and the gods' power, Lord Vishnu took the Vaman form to outwit Bali. Vaman approached Bali during a grand yadnya and asked for the amount of land he could cover in three steps. Bali readily agreed to fulfill Vamana's request, as keeping his word was paramount. Valan grew to a gigantic colossal size.
The Three Steps:
His first step covered the Earth.
His second step covered the heavens.
With no space remaining, he asked Bali for a place for his third step.
Bali humbly offered his head for the third step.
Lord Vishnu placed his third step on Bali's head, sending him to rule the underworld (Patal Lok) as a respected king. and became his doorkeeper, serving his devotee out of divine love and to glorify Bali's sacrifice. Ganika, a courtesan was leading a sinful life. She attained Moksha through her devotion while teaching her pet parrot to chant "Ram, Ram". The story emphasizes that Moksha does not require complex rituals, but can be achieved through a simple, sincere act of devotion. For Ganika, this simple act was teaching a parrot. The repeated chanting or listening to the name of God purifies the mind and focuses it on the divine, leading to Moksha. In this way You take opportunity to help many attain the liberation, so You acting differently with me is not possible. Can the calf of Kamdhenu, the wish fulfilling divine cow go hungry? And therefore I have no doubt that You will fulfill my wish of Vishwaroop Darshan. But before that please make me worthy of it. If You genuinely believe that my eyes have the capability to hold Vishwaroop before my eyes, then please go ahead and let it unfold here and now. Hearing an earnest request from Arjun, Lord Krishna couldn't wait any more. Lord Krishna is likened to a heavy, monsoon raincloud. Arjun is the rainy season. Just like Kokil, Cuckoo bird's beautiful, often heard melody is synonymous with the spring season signaling nature's awakening after winter, so is Lord Krishna to Arjun. Or just like the sea rises in high tide seeing the full moon, the enthusiasm of Lord Krishna surged. In that state of high exhilaration Arjun heard the cosmic, awe-inspiring, and terrifying voice of
the Grace-full Lord Krishna, the Supreme Being, the sound that humbled and enlightened Arjun. It was not a comforting human voice but a divine roar. The voice that articulates that all beings and events are part of a single, divine plan. Lord Krishna said, here are My countless infinite manifestations. It's scope was beyond what Arjun expected, as
it was the entire cosmos contained within a single, infinite being, where Lord Krishna revealed His all-encompassing cosmic form. Just as God's being is infinite, so too is His generosity. God's boundless, limitless, and unending kindness, mercy, and benevolence has no limit. He provides thousand times more than what is sought. The bhava of the devotee is highest for God. He reciprocates the love of the devotee according to the unique emotional state, or bhava, with which they worship. That which was hidden from even the thousands of eyes of Shesha, the divine serpent and a close companion of Lord Vishnu, not revealed by Vedas, even Goddess Laxmi had no knowledge of it, that Vishwaroop, the hidden mystery was unveiled by Lord Krishna exclusively for Arjun, demonstrating the transcendental and all-pervading nature of the divine. Arjun's spiritual merit must be immense to have witnessed the phenomenally grand Vishwaroop. Just like in the dream state, one lives the dream, similarly Lord Krishna assumes the infinite universes. When Lord Krishna revealed His universal cosmic form, it was like dispelling of the veil of the worldly vision with the unfolding of the profound splendour of His yogic riches. But He was so involved in it that He didn't give thought to how Arjun could see it. Overwhelmed by love for His beloved Arjun He said, here is the Vishwaroop."
