"The Guru's glory is too profound to be fully explained or expressed in words. Yet any boasting of doing it with ordinary intellect is as futile as covering the precious pearl by mica and the praises will be like silver plating over gold. And therefore best is falling to the feet of a Guru with reverence in silence contemplation. Addressing ShriGuru Sant Dnyaneshwar said it is by Your Grace-full fondness of me, I become like a sacred ancient Banyan tree on the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers at Prayag, stand delighted while the illuminating dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjun unfolds. In ancient time a young boy named Upamanyu asked Lord Shiva for milk. Lord Shiva granted him not just milk, but an "ocean of milk". Dhruva, the prince, displeased by his stepmother and ignored by his father, King Uttanpada, went to the forest and meditated on Lord Vishnu, chanting His name with great devotion for a sustained period. Pleased with Dhruva's tapasya (penance), Lord Vishnu appeared before him and granted Dhruva the boon of Dhruva-pada, the position of the eternal pole star, which is a permanent celestial position that will not be affected by cosmic dissolution (Maha Pralay). Similarly it is Your Grace that has enabled me to write the commentary in verses' form of Bhagwad Gita, an all encompassing "handbook of life". It addresses spiritual, ethical, and practical aspects for all people, regardless of their background or path in life. It offers guidance for self-realization and achieving the "welfare of the world" through techniques of various yogas, making its wisdom applicable to diverse human needs and spiritual aspirations. Vivek or the sense of discrimination is an experience, not experienced by merely weaving words and therefore you made my speech itself as the Kalpavruksha of Vivek. The intellect that had once attained oneness with the body consciousness now becomes one with the Supreme Reality. When this happens how is it not possible that the Supreme Bliss not manifests everywhere? In deep contemplation my mind goes to sleep in Geetartha, the core meaning or essence of Bhagwad Gita, the Ocean of milk, the celestial abode of Lord Vishnu."
