"When mindful actions coincide with Yog, the body becomes the Holy Prayag (a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati are believed to converge.) It is a state of mental calmness, focus, and equanimity, where the mind is not easily agitated or distracted. Let's call it as 'Yogayukta', said Lord Krishna to Arjun. The metaphor for the steadiness of a mind focused on the transcendental Self can be, just as a lamp placed in a calm, windless environment burns steadily without flickering, a yogi's mind, disciplined and concentrated, remains unperturbed and focused on meditation. Discerning your thoughts let me have your attention said Lord Krishna to Arjun. You desire the fruits of Yog but lack putting effort. Why is it so? What is so difficult in it to be so afraid of? The medicine may save a person from death, but the tongue detests it because the senses do not like to be subdued. Similarly the senses have a natural resistance to yog. Otherwise it's the best."
