"If it is so then how can there be a distinction between a fly, an elephant, a lowly person or a brahmin, this is a stranger and this is mine? The illusion of duality that this is a cow, this is a dog, this is high and this is lowly is no more, because for the one who is awake, the dream has no meaning. We generally consider ourselves as being distinct from the rest of the creation. The Creator may also be seen as someone in the sky above. Someone, who can be pleased through flowers and offerings. This feeling or belief is what is known as 'Duality.' The duality is born of "I" Consciousness. The "I" Consciousness tends to create a world of duality by comparing and contrasting experiences, which reinforces the sense of separation and "otherness". The truly Wise has moved beyond the limitations of the "I" Consciousness and the perceived world of duality, attaining a state of oneness or unity."
