देवा तुवांचि ऐसें बोलावें I तरी आम्ही नेणतीं काय करावें I आतां संपलें म्हणों पां आघवें I विवेकाचें II 6 II
हां गा उपदेशु जरी ऐसा I तरी अपभ्रंशु तो कैसा I आतां पुरला आम्हां धिंवसा I आत्मबोधाचा II 7 II
वैद्यु पथ्य वारूनि जाये I मग जरी आपणचि विष सुये I तरी योगिया कैसेनि जिये I सांगें मज II 8 II
जैसें आंधळें सुइजे आव्हांटा I कां माजवण दीजे  मर्कटा I तैसा उपदेशु हा गोमटा I वाढवला आम्हां II 9 II
मी आधींचि कांहीं नेणें I वरी कवळिलों मोहें येणें I श्रीकृष्णा विवेकु या कारणें I पुसिला तुज II 10 II
तंव तुझी एकेक नवाई I एथ उपदेशामाजीं गोवाई I तरी अनुसरलेया काई I ऐसें कीजे II 11 II
आम्हीं तनुमनुजीवें I तुझिया बोला वोटंगावें I आणि तुवांचि ऐसें करावें I तरी सरलें म्हण II 12 II

"Arjun said to Lord Krishna, your advise has put me in two minds. If this is the wisely counsel then what can be called as the confusion? Just like the diseased person cannot survive if the doctor who has recommended the do's and don't's himself feeds him the poison. I find your advise like this. It is as confusing as the blind man made to walk an unfamiliar path or intoxicating a monkey. I sought your counsel because the attachment added to my ignorance which was already there. But it further  complicated the things. If You, whom we rely wholeheartedly lead us astray, then it's the end."
