"Lord Krishna said to Arjun, the senses overpower the resolve of even the yogis of high caliber who control their senses with a conscious effort of Yama, the dissolution of undesirable aspects of one's nature and Niyam that includes noble qualities to be cultivated.
(One of the prominent sage Vishwamitra was lured by Menaka, an apsara from heaven, to break his meditation and end his penance. Menaka successfully incited Vishvamitra's lust and passion when he saw her beauty.)
The hunter becomes the hunted just like the person who helps ridding of demon possession is lured by the female evil spirit. Often the Siddhis or the extraordinary powers, abilities, or accomplishments that can be attained through advanced stages of yogic practice further the sense gratification. All in all its very difficult to break free from the vicious circle of the senses."
