"Speaking to Lord Krishna Arjun said, the ocean is not quiet, despite what it may seem. Guru Dron's mind is however unlike that of ocean. His stillness and calmness highlights his quietude and wise passivity.
The sky is all-encompassing, far exceeding our ability to comprehend. Its breadth and length and height and depth are staggering. Yet the depth of Guru Dron's heart is beyond measure.
Time may erode the rock or taste of Amrut, the incredibly sweet divine nectar may disappear over time but the equanimity of Guru Dron, his balanced and even-minded awareness, his ability to remain calm, composed, and non-reactive in the face of both favorable and unfavorable circumstances is phenomenal.
A mother's love is often used as a representation of "true love" because it is typically described as unconditional, selfless, and unwavering, providing a foundation of deep care and support that is present throughout a person's life, regardless of their actions or circumstances. Guru Dron is himself love manifested as human. He is known for his immense kindness, abundant virtues and is the ocean of knowledge, wisdom and sagacity. Although Dronacharya taught both, Kauravas and Pandavas alike, Arjun was his favorite pupil. In light of this tell me how can we even think of killing him asked Arjun to Lord Krishna. The idea of enjoying the pleasures and riches of kingdom won by killing likes of him in war is very distressing. Instead of even greater pleasures, asking for alms would be  a much better living. Leaving the place of your dwelling permanently and making forest as your home is much better than committing the sin of wielding weapon against them. The spoils of war bloodied by sharp arrowheads piercing their chests would be agonising, far from being enjoyable. And therefore I find it difficult to comprehend your rational reasons for going to war said Arjun to Lord Krishna. However when he realised that Lord Krishna didn't react, it disturbed him and so Arjun enquired about what could be the reason?"
