"Lord Krishna's fondness for Arjun is beyond compare. With the Supreme Lord Narayan Himself as his cherished companion, no one was more blessed human than Arjun as he was but the Lord Narayan Himself in the manifested form. (Lord Krishna is synonymous with Narayan. Arjun is referred to as 'Nara' + 'Ayana' = 'Narayan'. 'Ayana' implies leading to the destination or resting place.) Narayan is therefore the ultimate aspiration of 'Nara' to become one with the infinite. He whom the yogis strive to attain but in vain, Vedas are unable to comprehend Him in entirety, and while contemplation and meditation are important practices, they alone cannot guarantee His Realization, the same Supreme Lord Krishna, the True Self, He who has no beginning or is there since time immemorial and is without any attributes is beautifully humane to Arjun coming to his aid when he is not able to decide what to do.
Just like it's true form reveals only when the cloth is unfolded, the all pervading Supreme Lord embody the human form of Lord Krishna to assist Arjun."
