ऐसें तनुत्यागेंवीण I अमूर्ताचे गुण I दिसती संपूर्ण I योगयुक्ता II 39 II
एऱ्हवीं आणिकांचिये परी I तोही एक शरीरी I अशैषाही व्यापारीं I वर्ततु दिसे II 40 II
तोही नेत्रीं पाहे I श्रवणीं ऐकतु आहे I परी तेथींचा सर्वथा नोहे I नवल देखें II 41 II
स्पर्शासि तरी जाणे I परिमळु सेवी घ्राणें I अवसरोचित बोलणें I तयाहि आथी II 42 II
आहारातें स्वीकारी I त्यजावें तें परिहरी I निद्रेचिया अवसरीं I निंदिजे सुखें II 43 II
आपुलेनि इच्छावशें I तोही गा चालतु दिसे I पैं सकळ कर्म ऐसें I राहाटे किर II 44 II
हें सांगों काई एकैक I देखें श्वासोच्छासादिक I आणि निमिषोन्निमिष I आदिकरूनि II 45 II
पार्था तयाचे ठायीं I हें आघवेंचि आथी पाहीं I परी तो कर्ता नव्हे काहीं I प्रतीतिबळें II 46 II
जैं भ्रांतिसेजे सुतला I तैं स्वप्नसुखें भूतला I मग तो ज्ञानोदयीं चेइला I म्हणोनियां II 47 II

"Lord Krishna said, a Karma yogi thus displays the characteristics of a liberated soul who is still alive and has attained a state of spiritual realization that is considered the pinnacle of enlightenment. He too is no different than other human beings and seen doing karma like them. He sees what others see, hears what others do, yet doesn't get attached to the karma, get bound by it. He can sense a touch, a smell and appropriate to the situation he can speak fluently. Consumes food, avoids forbidden and takes a good sleep. He roams freely and in this way does karma like everyone else. What more can I tell you said Lord Krishna to Arjun, for his other karma include breathing and also opening and closing of eyelids. Yet due to Self Realization the Karma Yogi remains untouched by the doership. Earlier he was fast asleep in a slumber of ignorance, but now he is awakened because of the realization of the KNOWLEDGE."
