"The rituals described in Vedas' that bestow heavenly bliss are named Dravya yadnya. Just like the stars lose the glow in the vicinity of the radiant Sun, the Dravya yadnya is lesser to the Dnyan yadnya.
Addressing Arjun Lord Krishna said, like the collyrium, the KNOWLEDGE opens the eyes of those who are rendered blind by the darkness of ignorance and therefore the yogis don't let their focus deviate away from the KNOWLEDGE in their quest of the Supreme Bliss. The KNOWLEDGE that gives fulfilled contentment to the aspirant is the culmination of performing duties without attachment to the outcomes. The KNOWLEDGE, the realization of which thins the inclination to do karma, ends logic, makes the senses forget their inherent tendency of gratification, the wandering and restless mind calms down, the silence becomes aloud and what is sought is realized fulfills in entirety the very purpose of dispassion. With the attainment of the Supreme Realization, the yearning for the sense of discrimination ends too."
