एथ कर्मीं तोचि लिंपे I जो गुणसंभ्रमें घेपे I प्रकृतीचेनि आटोपें I वर्ततु असे II 184 II
इंद्रियें गुणाधारें I राहाटती निजव्यापारें I तें परकर्म बलात्कारें I आपादी जो II 185 II

"Dynamism of Prakruti is due to the continuous flux of Trigunas, Sattva, Raja and Tama. The Trigunas hold the body and hence the senses in material bondage. The domination of Gunas influence one's personality. And personality influences one's karma. Such a person having the firm conviction that the gross body itself is his true self takes upon himself the doership of the karma, actually done by the senses under the influence of Trigunas."
