"Those who seek Me with devotional love are saved from recurring births irrespective of their caste or colour of skin. Since one's mental state or the dominant thoughts at the time of death are believed to significantly influence the nature of the next birth or afterlife, one may have done evil things in the past but if he is absorbed in devotion at the time of death then it is considered as highest. The heavy floods drowned a person yet if he reaches the shore alive just like his drowning becomes irrelevant, the last-minute devotion wipes out all his sins. An evil doer in the past bathing in repentence if worships Me wholeheartedly then his line of descent should be considered auspicious, his life impeccably flawless. Coming to human birth, he truly lived. Such person is said to have practiced the eight limb yoga in the truer sense, concluded Tapas successfully. The person who has fond contemplation of only Me, putting all actions of mind and intellect into the box of one pointed devotion handovers the box to Me, transcends Karma."
