"Lord Krishna said to Arjun, I am the lucidity (ras) in water, 'Sparsha' (sense of touch) of air (Vayu) and the light of the sun and the moon. I am the original fragrance of the earth. I am the 'Shabda-guna', the sound or the subtle vibration associated with ether. I am Pranav or Omkar described in Vedas', the primordial sound that emerged at the Creation of the universe. I am the Human-ness in human beings, the qualities of kindness, compassion, and consideration for others. 'Pourush', the power behind the "I" Consciousness is also Me. I am the radiance and brilliance (Tej) behind fire (Agni). It signifies that Agni's radiance is a reflection of the Supreme Lord's brilliance and power. The living things of the three worlds are born in different yonis' or species, each having a unique way of subsistence. There are some living only on air, without consuming food or water, some eat only the grass, while some living only on water, consuming no food and relying solely on water for survival. Behind all multiplicity of this manifold universe, the One Homogeneous Whole that persists in all its splendour is Me only."
