ऐसी एकैक शृंगारशोभा I पाहतां अर्जुन जातसे क्षोभा I तेवींचि देवो बैसला कीं उभा I कां शयालु हें नेणवे II 226 II
बाहेर दिठी उघडोनि पाहे I तंव आघवें मूर्तिमय देखत आहे I मग आतां न पाहें म्हणोनि उगा राहे I तरी आंतुही तैसेंचि II 227 II
अनावरें मुखें समोर देखे I तयाभेणें पाठीमोरा जंव ठाके I तंव तयाहीकडे श्रीमुखें I करचरण तैसेचि II 228 II
अहो पाहतां कीर प्रतिभासे I एथ नवलावो काय असे I परि न पाहतांही दिसे I चोज आइका II 229 II
कैसें अनुग्रहाचें करणें I पार्थाचें पाहणें आणि न पाहणें I तयाहीसकट नारायणें I व्यापूनि घेतलें II 230 II
म्हणोनि आश्चर्याच्या पुरीं एकीं I ठायेंठाव थडी ठाकी I तंव चमत्काराचिया आणिकीं I महार्णवीं पडे II 231 II
ऐसा अर्जुनु असाधारणें I आपुलिया दर्शनाचेनि विंदाणें I कवळूनि घेतला तेणें I अनंतरूपें II 232 II
तो विश्वतोमुख स्वभावें I आणि तेंचि दावावयालागीं पांडवें I प्रार्थिला आतां आघवें I होऊनि ठेला II 233 II
आणि दीपें कां सूर्य प्रगटे I अथवा निमुटलिया देखावेंचि खुंटें I तैसी दिठी नव्हे जे वैकुंठें I दिधली आहे II 234 II
म्हणोनि किरीटीसि दोहीं परी I तें देखणें देखे आंधारीं I हें संजयो हस्तिनापुरीं I सांगतसे राया II 235 II
म्हणे किंबहुना अवधारिलें I पार्थें विश्वरूप देखिलें I नाना आभरणीं भरलें I विश्वतोमुख II 236 II
"The fear made Arjun take away his attention from the hands of Vishwaroop to His neck and crown. He thought it must be where the Kalpataru, the wish fulfilling tree is born, where weary goddess Laxmi, a divine lotus treasure finds solace, with Maha Siddhis, the great accomplishments or great powers as the fresh, impeccably flawless flowers. Arjun saw the Lord holding the flowers in hand, enjoying their fragrance. A bunch of flowers on His head, there is Pooja Bandha or adornment of a peculiar kind, an arrangement of rice and flowers woven together, garlands of divine flowers worn around His neck. The opulence like the heaven wearing the radiance of the sun, or the Meru mountain adorned with gold, wrapped in divine Pitambar. The thin layer of Sandalwood paste covering His entire body is as synonymous with Him as the white like camphor appearance of Lord Shiva or coating the snow capped mount Kailas by silver white mercury or blanketing the ocean of milk by a sheet as white as milk or capping the sky with moonlight unfolded. Sandalwood whose sublime fragrance gives an edge to the radiance of the Self Realization, a cooling and calming essence bestows tranquility to the Supreme Realization. Earth has its unique fragrance, yet it owes its liveliness to the divine fragrance of this sandalwood. The dispassionate cannot resist its fragrance. And even Kamdev, the god of love and desire, also called "Ananga" because he was rendered bodiless by Lord Shiva, anoints himself by the Sandalwood. The resplendence of Lord so overwhelmed and enamored Arjun that he couldn't see whether Lord is standing, sitting or lying. Opening his eyes when he looked around, it was only the Lord everywhere and with the inner vision too it was only Him. Frightened of seeing His countless mouths when he turned his back, he saw the same hands, feet, mouths on the other side too. It is natural to see things with open eyes, but the most amazing thing about Vishwaroop was that it was as vivid with the inner vision as well. In a way the Vishwaroop pervaded Arjun's seeing and inner vision both in entirety. Barely saved from being drowned in the flood of one wonder, another awaited him to drown in an ocean. In this way Lord Narayan with His infinitude illuminated Arjun displaying His Vishwaroop. Lord Narayan is Vishwatomukha, meaning
master of the universe, signifying omnipresence and a universal presence. And therefore when Arjun requested Him to show His Vishwaroop, He manifested in His all encompassing and All Pervading form. The Divine Vision granted by Lord Narayan to Arjun was not like an illumination by lamp or sun light whose presence or absence decides the vision. And therefore irrespective of whether Arjun's eyes were open or not, he could behold the Vishwaroop said Sanjay to Dhrutarashtra. Arjun saw Vishwaroop of Lord Narayan that was fully adorned yet All Pervading."
