"Lord Krishna realized that the revered enthusiasm Arjun felt right from the beginning to listen to His advice is now more than before. It elated Him. The glow of comprehension on Arjun's face was like a clear reflection in the mirror. It encouraged Him to expound it in elaborate detail. It is the next chapter. There the Shanta Ras, where one experiences a profound sense of peace and detachment from worldly attachments will present itself with so much fervour just like Bramha, a seed or the underlying principle, the cause and source of all that exists sprouts into a seedling. With the lumps of their body consciousness thinned by the shower of Sattva Guna, characterized by goodness, purity, balance, and harmony, the inquisitive minds of the listeners are now ready just like the plant bed gets ready for seed sowing. Realizing that the attentive listeners are like the best sowing season, ShriNivruttinath found it to be the best time to lay the foundations for learning, understanding, and wisdom. Addressing the listeners Sant Dnyaneshwar said, Sadguru ShriNivruttinath placing hand over my head imparted His Blessings and then me as a medium sow the seeds within me. And therefore Sant Dnyaneshwar said, rest assured, for the words inspired by them that come out of my mouth, the WISE would find satisfactory. I shall now narrate what Lord Krishna said to Arjun.
Let the listening to what Lord Krishna said be a kind of exchange.
Let the listening be "with the ears of mind", a deeper form of listening that goes beyond simply hearing words. It involves actively engaging the mind to understand the speaker's message, intentions, and emotional context.
Let the listening be "seeing with the eyes of intellect". It is about looking at things with an analytical and discerning mind, rather than just accepting what is immediately apparent.
Let the listening be an exchange of the words accepted at the price of attention. And then with hands of careful attention let the words go into the heart that give contentment to the WISE. They give way to Self emancipation, bring to life their profound impact, and give immense bliss to the soul.
Sant Dnyaneshwar said, what follows is an illuminating dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjun, the narration of it is woven in the verse form."
