"As soon as He said this Lord Krishna again assumed His human form. It was no wonder. But more amazing was his love for Arjun. A Phenomenal relationship between the Lord and His devotees. Lord Krishna means Moksha manifested. The Vishwaroop, the true cosmic form of Lord Krishna that He revealed to Arjun however didn't please him. It is like seeking some thing in particular, yet throwing it away or to find flaw in a precious jewel or seeking a girl for marriage, yet rejecting her. Arjun was in a similar state after having seen the grand Vishwaroop. It is His exceptional love for Arjun that made Him convey him the very essence of the Supreme KNOWLEDGE. Just like making an ornament from a lump of gold, but melting it down again not finding it to the expectations. Similarly Lord Krishna for His fondness for Arjun assumed Vishwaroop. But when Arjun could not cope with it, He regained His Chaturbhuja form. Where would one find a Guru like Lord Krishna who would go to so much trouble for the love of His disciple? But why Lord Krishna had so much fondness towards Arjun is unfathomable said Sanjay to Dhrutarastra. And then the divine radiance that encompassed the whole Creation merged back into Lord Krishna. The individual soul merged into Bramha, the Supreme Consciouness. The seed holds the tree-ness within it or the end result is already contained within the initial form. Just like activities in the dream cease as soon as one wakes up, similarly Lord Krishna showed the Vishwaroop in His Saguna form. It is like merging of radiance of the sun into the sun, or clouds dissolving into the sky, or ocean tides merge into the ocean. Vishwaroop was but a cloth in the shape of Lord Krishna kept folded. Lord Krishna owing to His fondness for His beloved Arjun unfolded it to reveal His cosmic universal form. Having scrutinised its length, breadth and colour when it didn't come to the expectation of the customer, He folded it back again. Similarly the terrifying Vishwaroop whose ever expanding growth had encompassed the whole Creation, became calm, delightful and soft. In short Lord Krishna turned Vishwaroop into the Chaturbhuja form in a way giving assurance to Arjun. He was as astounded as the person who went to swarga in his dream feeling stunned when awakened. This awakening of Arjun was like with the Grace of Sadguru, the worldly knowledge disappears and the true KNOWLEDGE illuminates. Arjun thought Vishwaroop was a veil obscuring my vision. It's good that it has dispelled. It was as profound as emerging victorious defeating death, or pushing back the tempest, or transcending the seven oceans by physical effort. So overjoyed was Arjun having seen the Chaturbhuja form of Lord Krishna. Just like after the sunset, the stars in the sky become visible, similarly he could now see the earth along with the people dwelling on it. Then he looked around and saw the same Kurukshetra with his own family—grandfathers like Bhishma, teachers like Drona, uncles, cousins, and friends—arrayed on both sides of the battlefield at Kurukshetra. He saw the courageous brave warriors on both sides attaking each other, unleashing deadly weapons. And then he saw his chariot standing as before under the umbrella of arrows. He also saw Lord Krishna sitting on the front part of the chariot and he standing on the ground."
