यांचा पहिला कुरुठा इंद्रियें I एथूनि प्रवृत्ति कर्मातें विये I आधीं निर्दळूनि घालीं तियें I सर्वथैव II 268 II
मग मनाची धांव पारुषेल I आणि बुद्धीची सोडवण होईल I इतुकेनि थारा मोडेल I या पापियांचा II 269 II

"Lord Krishna said, anger and lust originate from the senses and cause the desire to do karma. And therefore the first and foremost thing needed to be done is their total annihilation remaining absorbed within. This shall cease the constant running of the mind, a rapid stream of thoughts going rampant, feeling uncontrollable and overwhelming. The intellect will be freed and with this the hold of anger and lust will be lost."
