परि भजन करिती हातवटी I तूं जाणत आहासि किरीटी I जे मागां इया गोष्टी I केलिया आम्हीं II 229 II
तंव आथी जी अर्जुन म्हणे I हें दैविकिया प्रसादाचें करणें I तरि काय अमृताचें आरोगणें I पुरे म्हणवे II 230 II
या बोला श्रीअनंतें I लागटा देखिलें तयातें I कीं सुखावलेनि चित्तें I डोलतु असे II 231 II
म्हणे भलें केलें पार्था I एऱ्हवीं हा अनवसरु सर्वथा I परि बोलवितसे आस्था I तुझी मातें II 232 II
तंव अर्जुन म्हणे हें काइ I चकोरेंवीण चांदिणेंचि नाहीं I जगचि निवविजे हा तयाच्या ठायीं I स्वभावो कीं जी II 233 II
येरें चकोरें तिये आपुलिये चाडे I चांचु करिती चंद्राकडे I तेविं आम्ही विनवूं तें थोकडें I देवो कृपासिंधु II 234 II
जी मेघु आपुलिये प्रौढी I जगाची आर्ति दवडी I वांचूनि चातकाची ताहान केवढी I तो वर्षाव पाहुनी II 235 II
परि चुळा एकाचिया चाडे I जेविं गंगेतेंचि ठाकणें पडे I तेविं आर्त बहु कां थोडें I तरि सांगावें देवें II 236 II
तेथें देवें म्हणितलें राहें I जो संतोष आम्हां जाहला आहे I तयावरी स्तुति साहे I ऐसें उरलें नाहीं II 237 II
पैं परिसतु आहासि निकियापरी I तेंचि वक्तृत्वा वऱ्हाडीक करी I ऐसें पुरस्करोनि श्रीहरी I आदरिलें बोलों II 238 II
"Lord Krishna said, you are aware of it as it has been explained before. Arjun replied, but still listening to it again will be enlightening just like who would say enough if Amrut is served? Hearing his words Lord Krishna realized eagerness of Arjun to know more. He said, though this may be the correct time, your strong conviction in Me is encouraging me to ponder my thoughts. Listening to this Arjun said, moonlight is not dependent on presence or absence of Chakor. The soft gentle light of the moon creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere is it's inherent nature. We look at the Grace-full ocean You just like Chakor bird's persistent gaze at moon with intense longing. The clouds quench thirst of the universe. The yearning of Chakor is trivial before it. But just like even for a gargle of water of Holy Ganga, it needs to be visited, similarly regardless of how much we want, Your illuminating thoughts are yearned. Hearing this Lord Krishna said, your praise of Me is overwhelming. Your listening attentively itself invites Me to talk. With this preamble Lord Krishna started speaking."
