वेदांआंतु सामवेदु I तो मी म्हणे गोविंदु I देवांमाजी मरुद्वंधु I महेंद्र तो मी II 223 II
इंद्रियांमाजी अकरावें I मन तें मी हें जाणावें I भूतांमाजीं स्वभावें I चेतना ते मी II 224 II

"In Vedas, I am Samved, in Gods I am Indra, the companion of Maudganas. Of the eleven senses, five organs of perception (Dnyanendriyas), five organs of action (Karmendriyas)
I am the mind, the eleventh. It is the internal sense that allows for thoughts, feelings, and the coordinated functioning of the other ten senses. The fundamental, universal consciousness that animates the universe and everything within it is also Me."
