"Even if you think that the atma is perishable, your sorrow is entirely unfounded. This is because the perpetual cycle of creation, preservation, and annihilation that illustrates how all things are subject to a regular rhythm of formation and dissolution is going on continuously since time immemorial just like incessant flow of waters of river Ganga. With abundant waters at its source flowing from the peaks of the mountains, the long winding road crossing forests and villages ultimately entering the ocean, not disappearing into the ocean but of becoming the ocean. For all living beings too the creation, preservation and destruction are inevitable, reflecting the dynamic interplay of existence. If it is so then the people you are reluctant to fight are also not an exception to this said Lord Krishna to Arjun."
