"The soul cannot be comprehended by logic. The soul is beyond the mind, cannot be seen by the mind. The soul is not within the realm of mind's perception or within the scope of language. Meditation is the means. What the mind cannot do, meditation does. The meditation has a constant longing for His realization. Atma or soul is Purush, a supreme being or consciousness that is the spiritual essence of all living beings, an efficient cause that causes the creation to manifest as the natural world.
The material nature constitutes of three gunas (modes)—sattva (goodness), rajas (passion), and tamas (ignorance). The three gunas influence a person's thoughts, actions, and destiny but the atma is always untouched.
The atma has no absolute beginning. The changeless atma is the eternal and unalterable essence of the self, independent of duality's illusions. It emphasizes that the true self remains constant and unaffected by external changes, reinforcing the idea of a singular, unchanging reality at the core of existence.
When you understand the all pervading atma in this manner said Lord Krishna to Arjun, surely there will be no place for your sorrow."
