"What is born must die and then takes birth again. It is as incessant as passage of time that waits for no man. The endless cycle of birth, death and rebirth is as inevitable as the sun rise followed by the sun set and then again the sun rise the next day. At the worldly deluge, all the three worlds are destroyed. And therefore even if you consider the atma to be perishable, don't you think your sorrow is unfounded? Asked Lord Krishna to Arjun. Why are you wilfully ignorant? Even if you give a thought to this in different ways you will realize that your sorrow is entirely unfounded."
