"In his reply to Lord Krishna Arjun said, to opt for war over peace would be a sin. To be party to such an act would be a gross neglect, a serious form of negligence that involves a reckless disregard to the elders you worshipped all your life like God. Elders are the keepers of wisdom, holding a wealth of experience that spans over many years. They carry within them the essence of who we are as a society, and it is our moral obligation to show them the respect they deserve, not to kill them or abuse them. Pitamah Bhishma is a revered elder and warrior, and Arjun respects and admires him greatly. Despite being on opposing sides during the Kurukshetra War, their relationship is marked by mutual respect. Arjun wandered in the realm of past and beheld flashes of heartwarming memories he shared with Pitamah Bhishma and his preceptor, Guru Dron. Those memories filled him with doubts and transformed him into an unwilling participant. It is preposterous to even think of killing Pitamah Bhishma and Guru Dron, those we can't imagine enmity even in our dreams, said Arjun. Are we going to flaunt all that we have learnt so far by killing them? He said he owes his archery skills to Guru Dron and his lessons were pivotal in shaping Arjun into a skilled warrior. Through rigorous training, Dron imparted him not just martial skills but also important life lessons. How can I kill him to whom I am indebted for life? To do so would be like Bhasmasur, meaning to use your skills against a person who empowered you."
