"Let your mind be like that of a yogi with mind open to everything, but attached to nothing. Do your prescribed duty without attachment to the results urged Lord Krishna to Arjun. If you come up victorious, don't get carried away by pride. And by chance if you lose don't drown yourself in the grief. By doing karma if it succeeds all well and good. But if it doesn't work out then also it is fine. Whatever karma you do, do it as a humble offering to the Supreme Lord so that it will go to completion.
Regardless of whether the sva-karma is joyful or full of hardships, not losing the poise and equanimity in itself is called by the truly wise as as a state of a yogi. The balance of mind and intellect itself is its very essence."
