तैसीं इंद्रियें आपैतीं होती I जयाचें म्हणितलें करिती I तयाची प्रज्ञा जाण स्थिती I पातली असे II 302 II

"A tortoise is known to pull its head and limbs into its shell when threatened or according to its own desire. Similar is the person known to be a Sthitapradnya who commands his senses, who withdraws the senses and thoughts from distractions, and not be affected by them."
