"This was the background in brief of the Swa-dharma yadnya said Lord Krishna to Arjun. The stubbornly ignorant however stays away from it. Engrossed in the sense gratification all the time, he is accompanied by loads of sin. His very existence is as vainly as the clouded sky when least expected or an vainly as the skin appendage that hangs under the goats neck listlessly and serves absolutely no known function. And therefore Parth, urged Lord Krishna, one must do the prescribed duties based on their nature and disposition diligently and wholeheartedly. As soon as we assume this body, the prescribed duties come as an inherent part of it. If this is so what's the point of refusing to follow it? The truly ignorant are those who are reluctant to follow their prescribed duties that comes by their nature and disposition."
