आतां अधिष्ठानसंगती I अशेषाही इंद्रियवृत्ति I आपुलालिया अर्थीं I वर्तत आहाती II 48 II
दीपाचेनि प्रकाशें I गृहींचे व्यापार जैसें I देहीं कर्मजात तैसें I योगयुक्ता II 49 II
तो कर्में करी सकळें I फरी कर्मबंधा नाकळे I जैसें न सिंपे जळीं जळें I पद्मपत्र II 50 II

"Lord Krishna said, when this state is reached his sense organs remain in action according to the requirements of his body. Just like the activities in the house take place in the light of the lamp, so go on the activities of a Karma Yogi. Just like the water droplets simply roll off a lotus leaf without adhering to its surface. The lotus leaf, despite being in water, doesn't get wet. Similarly the Karma Yogi does karma, yet remains detached."
