"Listen carefully Parth said Lord Krishna. Taking the hand of Pran as support, making the sky as a step and ascending the flight of stairs Sushumna, the Kundalini reached the heart. Kundalini can be understood as a manifestation of Jagdamba, the Divine Mother of all beings, Goddess, a powerful and revered source of all Creation, and the embodiment of Divine energy. Awakening Kundalini is seen as a way to connect with and experience that universal Divine energy, the glory of the Supreme Essence. Omkar, a sacred syllable and a representation of the Divine is considered the sound of the universe and the ultimate reality. Jagdamba, "Mother of the Universe" is considered a shadow of Omkar.
(In this context, "shadow" doesn't imply a literal darkness, but rather a representation or a manifestation of Omkar's power. It suggests that Jagadamba embodies the Divine power or energy that is associated with Omkar.)
Shunya refers to the absolute, transcendent state of being. The Linga, a symbol of Shiva, is believed to represent this Shunya, as it is the formless, eternal reality from which the universe emanates and to which it returns.
The Shiva Linga's cylindrical shape symbolizes the infinite and cosmic nature of Lord Shiva, transcending physical form.
The Linga is often placed on a circular base, called a yoni, which symbolizes the goddess Shakti, the Divine feminine. Together, the Linga and Yoni represent the union of masculine and feminine energies, the balance of Creation and regeneration, and the cosmic flow of life.
The Shiva Linga is seen as a manifestation of the Omkar, representing the same Divine energy and ultimate reality.
When Kundalini reaches heart, the resounding of the Anahat or Omkar is heard, a sound that is not produced by any physical action but is heard within, often described as a cosmic or Divine sound. It's associated with the heart chakra and is considered a fundamental sound of existence.
This Anahat sound falls on the ears of KNOWLEDGE that the Kundalini brings along with it. The Anahat Nad, or the unstruck sound, is believed to be of ten distinct types.
Para Vani is the highest primal form of sound, the original vibration from which all other forms of sound emanate. Para Vani is often experienced when one is in a state of advait, or non-duality, where the separation between self and universe dissolves.
Para Vani is the source from which Anahat Nad emerges.
Para Vani is the subtle, Divine sound, the origin of all sounds, while Anahat Nad is the Divine, unstruck sound that can be heard within the body, particularly in the heart. Para Vani is the highest, most fundamental form of sound, while Anahat Nad is the embodiment of that sound in the physical realm.
Lord Krishna said, one can experience this by imagination. The mind imagines. But where is the mind when mindedness is no more?
Anahat Dhwani, also known as the "unstruck sound" or "cosmic vibration," a subtle sound that arises spontaneously from within the body keeps echoing till the wind gets merged into the skies completely.
When Anahat resounds like roar of clouds in the heart cavity, it opens the Bramha-randhra-dwar. It represents the point where the physical body connects with the spiritual realm. It is seen as a gateway for higher consciousness, where Prakruti (nature) merges with Brahman (ultimate reality), a doorway to higher realms or higher consciousness.
The tender spot on the crown of the head is of the subtle body and not of the physical body. It is like a core of lotus flower and is a Great Space in itself.
When Jeevatma, the individual soul is on the verge of merging into the Supreme Soul, the Kudalini rushes in and presents it's Divine glow as a food to the heart. Offering of intellect transcends the duality."
