"With the glow of Shakti gone, the yogi's physical body appears dull. His true state becomes invisible to the world. Even though his physical body is same as before, it appears as of made of wind. The yogi becomes like peeling skin of a banana, the core pulp is revealed or the sky assumed to have hands and feet. And therefore the name "Khechar", meaning one who roams in the sky. When the yogi attains this state the miracles start to unfold. When such a yogi walks, he leaves behind his footprints. The eight Mahasiddhis, or supernatural powers stand at his command. The three elements Earth, water and fire of the Pancha Mahabhutas' (the five great elements) lie dissolved in his body. The earth is absorbed by water, the water disappears into fire and the wind in the heart absorbs the fire. Then only the wind remains that manifests in the form of a body. Ultimately even the wind merges into the space of consciousness, the pure unattached awareness or inner sky located between the eyebrows in the head. Now Kundalini assumes a new name "Maruti", means vayu or wind. The power of Shakti however remains till it gets absorbed into the Supreme Consciousness completely."
