"Lord Krishna said, you said it right Arjun. Indeed the mind is like that. It has a natural tendency to be restless. However the yogic practice when pursued with a detached mindset (dispassion), can help calm and stabilize the mind. Dispassion, in this context, corresponds to non-attachment to external things and desires, allowing for a more focused and peaceful mental state. By cultivating dispassion and consistent practice, one can gradually reduce the fluctuations of the mind and achieve a state of calm and stability. This is because mind has a tendency to have an intense focus towards things that genuinely pique our interest. This means that when something deeply engages our attention, our minds can get so engrossed that we become absorbed in it. Let that thing be the pursuit of Supreme Bliss, a state of profound happiness, joy, and satisfaction, a constant state of mind undisturbed by external factors."
