पाहें पां दूध पवित्र आणि गोड I पासीं त्वचेचिया पदराआड I परि तें अव्हेरूनि गोचिड I अशुद्ध काय न सेविती II 57 II
कां कमलकंदा आणि दुर्दुरीं I नांदणूक एकेचि घरीं I फरि परागु सेविजे भ्रमरीं I येरां चिखलुचि उरे II 58 II
ना तरी निदैवाच्या परिवरीं I लोह्या रुतलिया आहाति सहस्रवरी I फरि तेथ बसोनि उपवासु करी I कां दरिद्रें जिये II 59 II
तैसा हृदयामध्यें मी रामु I असतां सर्वसुखाचा आरामु I कीं भ्रातासी कामु I विषयावरी II 60 II
बहु मृगजळ देखोनि डोळां I थुंकिजे अमृताचा गिळितां गळाळा I तोडिला फरिसु बांधिला गळां I शुक्तिकालाभें II 61 II
तैसीं अहंममतेचिये लवडसवडी I मातेन न फवतीचि बापुडीं I म्हणोनि जन्ममरणाचे दुथडीं I डहुळितें ठेलीं II 62 II
एऱ्हवीं मी तरी कैसा I मुखाप्रति भानु कां जैसा I कहीं दीसे न दिसे ऐसा I वाणीचा नोहें II 63 II

"Cow's milk is auspicipus and tasty. It is stored within small sacs just under the skin. Yet the gadfly sucks her blood, not the milk. Lotus and frogs both live in the same surrounding, yet the bumblebees are attracted to lotus flowers, and delighted by its nectar while frogs have only mud. An unfortunate, unaware of the treasure buried under the ground in his house, suffers starvation and lives a life of poverty. Similarly despite having Me, the treasure of Supreme Bliss within, its the illusion of Maya that makes the person find joy in the sense pleasures. Just like tempted by a mirage, or taking Amrut, the divine nectar into the mouth and then spitting it out, or getting rid of a Paris stone in the necklace for a seashell, the allure of "I" Consciousness prevents My Realization, thus making the endless cycle of birth, death and rebirth inevitable. The Sun is visible, but not when it is shrouded by the clouds and at night. But I am constant said Lord Krishna, because while the material world is subject to constant change and impermanence, the divine is the underlying, unchanging reality."
