जीये नांव गा  प्रकृति I जे द्विविध सांगितली तुजप्रती I एकी अष्टधा भेदव्यक्ति I दूजी जीवरूपा II 98 II
हा प्रकृतिविखो आघवा I तुवां मागां परिसिलासे पांडवा I म्हणोनि असो काइ सांगावा I पुढतपुढती II 99 II
तरी ये माझिये प्रकृती I महाकल्पाच्या अंतीं I सर्व भूतें अव्यक्तीं I ऐक्यासि येती II 100 II
ग्रीष्माच्या अतिरसीं I सबीजें तृणें जैसीं I मागुती भूमीसी I सुलीनें होती II 101 II
कां वर्षियें ढें ढें फिटे I जेव्हां शारदीयेचा अनुघडु फुटे I तेव्हां घनजात आटे I गगनीचें गगनीं II 102 II
ना तरी आकाशाचे खोंपे I वायु निवांतुचि लोपे I कां तरंगता हारपे I जळीं जेवीं II 103 II
अथवा जागिनलिये वेळे I स्वप्न मनींचें मनीं मावळे I तैसें प्राकृत प्रकृतीं मिळे I कल्पक्षयीं II 104 II
मग कल्पादीं पुढती I मीचि सृजीं ऐसी वदंती I तरी इयेविषयीं निरुती I उपपत्ति आइक II 105 II

"That which is known as Prakruti is the eightfold material nature, or the eight aspects of material energy, which are: earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intellect, and "I" Consciousness. These eight elements are considered the inferior (Apara) Prakruti, distinct from the higher (Para) Prakruti which is the spiritual essence. The worldly deluge, the cosmic dissolution (Mahapralay) signifies a dissolution of the universe, where all beings are ultimately absorbed back into Me, their source, the Supreme Being. In the scorching sun of summer, the grass with its seed merge into the ground. After the rainy season Sharad Rutu marks a period of transition with sunny, bright days and cooler nights, characterized by clear and cloudless skies, the clouds in the sky merging into itself. Like a treasure unlocked, it is a season of transition and balance, a time of peaceful reflection and harmony with the nature. The wind merges in the core of the sky. A ripple merges into water. After awakening from sleep, the dreams disappear. At Kalpanta, the ultimate dissolution of the universe, all manifested beings merge into the unmanifest state of Prakruti. After this a new Kalpa begins with Me creating the universe again. Let me now describe it further in detail said Lord Krishna to Arjun."
