"Lord Krishna said, let Me now illustrate Dnyan Yadnya. The Primordial Cause is the Yadnya Stambha or the pillar of sacrifice. Panchamahabhutas' are the pendal and duality is the animal of sacrifice tied to the Yadnya Stambha. The five sense perceptions – hearing, touch, sight, taste and smell, five sense organs and the five Pranas – Prana, Apana, Udana, Vyana and Samana – are the materials that contribute to yadnya and ignorance is the clarified butter. In the sacred fire pit made of mind and intellect, the KNOWLEDGE fire roars vigorously. The equanimity, where one remains balanced and unperturbed by pleasure and pain adorns the Vedika, the raised platform often used in vedic rituals. Vivek buddhi, the ability to discriminate between right and wrong is the power of Ved mantras'. Sruk and Sruva, the two essential implements used in the ritual of offering the clarified butter into the sacred fire represent tranquility and Jeev (individual soul) is the Yajaman, the person on whose behalf the ritual is performed. The Jeev through chanting Ved mantras offer oblation of duality into the sacred fire of KNOWLEDGE. With the destruction of the ignorance, the two-ness of the doer of yadnya and yadnya ceases. The clarified butter representing ignorance exhausts too. Absorbed in Self when the Jeev takes the ceremonial bath Avabhutha Snan signifying the conclusion of the vedic ritual, beings, senses, sense organs cease their distinct identities and comes true the spiritual enlightenment where one merges with the Supreme Reality. Someone waking up from deep slumber says that he became the whole army in the dream. But after waking up there is a realization that it was an illusion. There was only me. Similarly there is the realization that behind all multiplicity of this manifold universe, the One Unconditioned Substratum persists in all its splendor. With the realization of the unity between the individual self (Jeev) and full to the brim by the KNOWLEDGE of Self Realization, individual soul merges into the Universal Consciousness. This is My worship through Dnyan Yadnya."
