एऱ्हवीं पाहें पां पांडुसुता I या यज्ञोपहारां समस्तां I मीवांचूनि भोक्ता I खवणु आहे II 351 II
मी सकळां यज्ञांचा आदि I आणि यजना मा मीचि अवधि I कीं मातें चुकोनि दुर्बुद्धि I देवां भजले II 352 II
गंगेचें उदक गंगे जैसें I अर्पिजे देवपितरोद्देशें I माझें मज देती तैसें I परि आनानीं भावीं II 353 II
म्हणऊनि ते पार्था I मातें न पवतीचि सर्वथा I मग मनीं वाहिली जे आस्था I तेथ आले II 354 II

"I am the sole enjoyer of the Vedic rituals involving offerings and oblations into a sacred fire (Agni) accompanied by chanting of mantras. I am the beginning and the end of all yadnyas'. The performers of yadnya in their ignorance however forget this and instead seek gods. Just like water of the Holy Ganga is offered to it in the name of gods and ancestors, similarly they give to Me what is Mine in the name of others. And therefore they do not realize Me. Their Karma reaches the gods they seek."
