"O' Beloved Lord of the Universe, illustrate to me Your Vibhutis', or divine glories and opulences. You may say it's already done before, yet the unending desire for more never ceases. Can one say no to Amrut, the divine nectar? The deadly poison Halahal and the nectar of immortality, Amrit, are siblings, both emerged from the churning of the cosmic ocean, the Samudra Manthan. The fear of death made the Gods drink Amrut. Despite this the fourteen Indras, the King of Heaven, that rule during one day of Bramha die.
(A Kalpa (a day of Brahma) is composed of 14 Manvantaras. Each Manvantara has its own Indra, a "King of Heaven". Therefore, 14 Indras rule during one day of Brahma, with each Indra's reign lasting for one Manvantara.)
It is a widely known yet a false belief that Amrut bestows immortality. If something that exists only in name has so profound an impact, then what can be said of Your words, the elixir in the truer sense? This doesn't need churning of the ocean by mount Mandar as the churning rod. It is beginning less and accomplished by itself. It is not liquid or solid, without taste or fragrance, yet readily available simply by Your remembrance. It transcends the worldliness and is Supreme eternal. The talk of birth, death and rebirth ceases and the Supreme Bliss of the Self Realization starts growing inside out. This supreme elixir turns individual soul (Jeeva) into Supreme Self. Therefore it is out of question for the mind to say no to this Supreme Elixir, Paramamrut. O' Beloved Lord said Arjun, merely Your name too is loved fondly. In addition, with Your constant nearness the Supreme Elixir from You illuminates. How can I describe this bliss? The words sound inadequate to describe the contentment it bestows. Therefore You are requested to reiterate the Supreme Elixir again. Sun rises every day, but because of that do we call it stale? Fire never bathes, but because of that do we call it unclean? Waters of river Ganga are flowing since time immemorial, but because of that do we consider it's waters stale? Your words, the Supreme Elixir are the primordial sound Omkar manifested or sniffing the fragrant flower of a sandalwood tree. Arjun's words elated Lord Krishna. He thought, Arjun is now the ground ready for the harvest of Devotional KNOWLEDGE. Delighted by Arjun's joy, yet controlling the the rising love ocean within, Lord Krishna began talking."
