II श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम II


अहो एकाची शाटी तपिन्नली I एकीं सृष्टीवरी सृष्टि केली I एकीं पाषाणीं पाऊनि उतरलीं I समुद्रीं कटकें II 36 II
एकीं आकाशीं सूर्यातें धरिलें I एकीं चुळिंचि सागरातें भरिलें I तैसें मज मुकयाकरवीं बोलविलें I अनिर्वाच्य तुम्हीं II 37 II
परि हें असो एथ ऐसें I राम रावण झुंजिन्नले कैसें I राम रावण जैसे I मीनले समरीं II 38 II
तैसें नवमीं कृष्णाचें बोलणें I तें नवमींचियाचिऐसें मी म्हणे I या निवाडा तत्वज्ञु जाणे I जया गीतार्थु हातीं II 39 II

देशियेचेनि नागरपणें I शांतु शृंगारातें जिणे I तरि ओंविया होती लेणें I साहित्यासी II 42 II
मूळग्रंथींचिया संस्कृता I वरि मऱ्हाटी नीट पढतां I अभिप्राय मानलिया उचिता I कवण भूमी हें न चोजवे II 43 II
जैसें अंगाचेनि सुंदरपणें I लेणिया आंगचि होय लेणें I तेथ अळंकारिलें कवण कवणें I हें निर्वचेना II 44 II
तैसी देशी आणि संस्कृत वाणी Iएका भावार्थाच्या सुखासनीं I शोभती आयणी I चोखट आइका II 45 II
उठावलिया भावा रूप I करितां रसवृत्तीचें लागे वडप I चातुर्य म्हणे पडप I जोडलें आम्हां II 46 II
तैसें देशियेचें लावण्य I हिरोनि आणिलें तारुण्य I मग रचिलें अगण्य I गीतातत्व II 47 II
जो चराचरपरमगुरु I चतुरचित्तचमत्कारु I तो ऐका यादवेश्वरु I बोलता जाहला II 48 II
ज्ञानदेव निवृत्तीचा म्हणे I ऐसें बोलिलें श्रीहरी तेणें I अर्जुना आघवियाची मातु अंत:करणें I धडौता आहासि II 49 II


"Once Sage Vishwamitra went to Lord Bramha for his aspiration to be acknowledged as Bramharshi, a divine sage. The revered Sage Vasishtha was already present. Lord Bramha asked the Sage Vishwamitra to get the Sun, Sea and Meru Mountain as the witness. But when he couldn't do it, Sage Vasishtha came to his rescue and created their symbolic manifestations. When he spread on the ground the robe he was wearing, it glowed as radiant as the Sun.
The Sage Vishwamitra created a parallel universe or Trishanku Swarga, a heaven, after King Trishanku was rejected from the celestial abode by Lord Indra.
Nal wrote Ram Nam on the stones to ensure their buoyancy. That helped the Vanar Sena of Lord Ram to cross the ocean to rescue Sita.
Young Hanuman leaped into the sky to swallow the rising sun assuming it as a ripe fruit.
Sage Agasti drank the ocean in one gulp.
Like all of these out-of-world experiences is the describing of Gita through my mouth, a dumb person speaking things that transcend the speech. Chapter nine is as unique as was the war between Lord Ram and Ravan. The philosopher who comprehends Gita thoroughly, only such a person can be satisfied by its conclusion. I have thus described the first nine chapters of Gita to the best of my ability. What now follows is it's other half. Beginning with Chapter ten, Lord Krishna describes His divine opulences (Vibhutis) to Arjun to illustrate that all magnificent and glorious manifestations in the world are a mere spark of His divine essence. A distinctive narrative in Marathi that can capture the attention of listeners, invoking Shanta rasa, the mellow of peace and tranquility characterized by detachment from material desires and unwavering faith in the Supreme Lord, conquering the Shrungar rasa. The Bhagavad Gita's original text is written in Sanskrit, the commentary is in Marathi, yet their congruence will amaze the reader about which may be the original. Just like when a beautiful aesthetically pleasing body itself adorns the adornment, it is difficult to identify who adorns whom, similar are the original verses in Sanskrit and their paraphrase in Marathi, each with their own beauty. 


"Bhava" (the expressed emotion or sentiment) creates or brings about "rasa" (the relished emotional flavor or aesthetic experience felt by the audience). When this happens the expression becomes profound. The beauty of Marathi language encompassing it's power to express emotions, with its inherent artistic qualities, such as unique sounds, rhythms, and literary expressions, the youthful exuberance of rasas' capture the core essence of Gita. 

Let me now have your attention to what Lord Krishna, the King of Yadavas', the highest Guru of the entire Creation and a boon to the astute listeners said. Sant Dnyaneshwar, the obedient disciple of ShriNivruttinath narrates the illuminating dialogue where Lord Krishna said to Arjun, you now deserve to listen about Self Realization."
