तरी क्षेत्रज्ञु जो एथें I तो मी जाण निरुतें I जो सर्व क्षेत्रातें I संगोपोनि असे II 8 II
क्षेत्र आणि क्षेत्रज्ञातें I जाणणें जें निरुतें II ज्ञान ऐसें तयातें I मानूं आम्ही II 9 II

"Kshetradnya (Knower of the Field) is Me said Lord Krishna identifying Himself as the supreme, universal knower within all bodies. All senses function as long as the Chaitanya (life force/divine consciousness) exists within them. Lord Krishna is the Kshetradnya because He is the absolute knower and inner observer of all temporary material fields. The true knowledge (Dnyan) is understanding the distinction between the Kshetra (field/body) and the Kshetradnya (knower of the field/soul)."
