II श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम II

सुखीं संतोषा न यावें I दुःखीं विषादा न भजावें I आणि लाभालाभ न धरावे I मनामाजीं II 226 II
एथ विजयपण होईल I कीं सर्वथा देह जाईल I हें आधींचि कांही पुढील I चिंतावें ना II 227 II
आपणयां उचिता I स्वधर्में राहाटतां I जें पावें तें निवांता I साहोनि जावें II 228 II
ऐसेया मनें होआवें I तरी दोषु न घडे स्वभावें  I म्हणोनि आतां झुंजावें I निभ्रांत तुवां II 229 II

"Lord Krishna said, one should strive to remain equanimous in all situations, and to avoid becoming overly attached to their emotions or desires. Neither extremely proud and overjoyed with success or losing confidence because of some misfortune. Following Swa-dharma or doing Prescribed duties should be without expecting anything in return. Neither one should forecast the outcome of war as victory or death. Following Swa-dharma or doing Prescribed duties one should be ready to endure all the hardships that may get in the way without complaint. Lord Krishna said, staying non attached like this, the sinful behavior will not happen. He urged Arjun to get ready for war and follow his swa-dharma, his prescribed duty as a warrior to fight the war. It's time to act he said."
